Microsoft Revamps Certification FAQs

Tuesday June 16, 2009
Microsoft has refreshed, reorganized and updated its certification site. The reason, writes Krista Wall on the Microsoft Learning blog, is that site traffic was low because it was hard to find stuff, and also had some outdated and redundant information.

One of the new sections is a set of Q & As about exam scoring, a hot topic, Wall writes. The FAQs are now organized into four general topic areas:
  • Getting Started in Certification
  • Program Benefits and Member Sites
  • Preparing for and Taking an Exam
  • Exam Development and Release
The FAQs are very short, which I like. When a topic requires more detail, there are relevant links. On the whole, I like the new FAQ section a lot: it looks good and is easy to navigate. Check it out if you're thinking about Microsoft certification.
