A+ Practice Tests

Now for the big question: where can you find good and FREE A+ practice tests? The answer is that there are several on the web and you will have to use your own discretion as to the quality of free practice tests. Some are good, others are questionable. With no further ado, here are some good ones . . .

  • On About.com
  • Written by your guide, here are a few free practice tests. There is no scoring at the end of these, so pay attention to missed questions to target your weak spots.
    Test 1 (OS)
    Test 2 (Core)
Test 3 (Both) A+ Hangman (have a bit of fun while studying!)

  • Passitnow.com

  • LearnThat (Core & OS)

  • Freepractice.com

Now you must be thinking, that is one pitifully short list. You're right, I am constantly looking for good links and keep them in thier own topic. Here is the long list: More A+ Practice Tests Here!

A+ Costs

Ok, so this is a fantastic certification, you know how and what to study, and there is only one question left to answer; how much will all of this cost? As always, it depends. The A+ consists of two exams, each cost $153 for a total of $306. However, if you or your employer is a member of CompTIA, the exams cost $120 each, for a total of $240. From this, add any costs associated with training or books and you've got a relatively small investment in a very worthwhile certification.
