To Obtain:
- You must first select one of three certification
tracks:
- Routing and Switching,
- Communications and Services, or
- Security.
- Must pass a written exam. The written
portion costs $300 and will consist of one of the following exams:
- Routing & Switching 350-001,
- Security 350-018,
- Optical 350-020,
- Cable 350-021 or
- DSL 350-022.
- Must pass a hands-on lab exam. The lab exam costs $1250, and lasts a full day.
- Must recertify every 2 years by passing the CCIE recertification exam.
