Definition: Comprehensive, high-level certification for those who want to demonstrate advanced computer security expertise.

To Obtain :

  • Must hold GSEC certification, plus GCFW, GCIH, GCIA, GCUX, GCNT and receive "honors" in at least one area.
  • Must pass the GSE exam.
  • Each exam costs $425 with SANS training or $425 if taken independently.
  • Recertification is required every two years by passing current exams. Recertification exams cost $120.
