• GIAC
Definition: Comprehensive, high-level certification for those who want to demonstrate advanced computer security expertise.
To Obtain :
- Must hold GSEC certification, plus GCFW, GCIH, GCIA, GCUX, GCNT and receive "honors" in at least one area.
- Must pass the GSE exam.
- Each exam costs $425 with SANS training or $425 if taken independently.
- Recertification is required every two years by passing current exams. Recertification exams cost $120.
