CompTIA
 
Definition: This certification is for mid-level networking technicians. You are expected to have at least 9 months of experience in network administration. An A+ certification is not required but is a recommended prerequisite.

To Obtain:

  • Must pass the Network+ exam.
  • You will have 90 minutes to answer 72 questions.
  • Each exam costs $199 ($149 for CompTIA members).
  • The exam counts as an elective for the Microsoft MCSA certification.
