CCNP - Cisco Certified Network Professional
The next level above a CCNA, this certification is designed for those who install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and Dial Access Services that utilize Cisco routers and switches; and for whose organization's networks range from 100 to more than 500 nodes.

This certification can require from 2 to 4 exams, depending upon the exams you choose. You will have to recertify every three years by taking the CCNP recertification exam.

CCIP - Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional
Another professional level certification, the CCIP is for those who work with end-to-end Cisco solutions involving telecommunications technologies including including IP routing, IP multicast, cable, DSL, content networking or IP telephony.

This certification requires three exams, and although it's not required, a CCNA is a recommended prerequisite. You will have to recertify every three years by taking the CCIP recertification exam.

CCDP - Cisco Certified Design Professional
The CCDP is for those who design routed and switched networks involving LAN, WAN, and dial access services for businesses and organizations with 100 to more than 500 nodes.

This certification can require from 2 to 4 exams, depending upon the exams you choose. In addition, you must hold valid CCNA and CCDA certifications. You will have to recertify every three years by taking the CCDP recertification exam.
