Email Keith Ward, About.com Guide to Technical Certification

Hi! I'm Keith Ward, your About.com guide to technical certification. Here are some things you'll want to know before emailing me.

Please feel free to email me. Although I can't always respond the same hour, or even the same day in some cases, I will get back to you. I'm at certification.guide@about.com.

Here are some common questions I get asked. See if one of them fits your situation, and contact me if necessary.

F.A.Q.

Q. "I have a hardware/software/other problem with my computer. What should I do?"

A. You should contact another About.com guide! I handle only technical certification, not general computer issues. We have lots of guides here who cover all aspects of computers. Here's a good place to start: About.com Computing & Technology.

Q. "Some information on your site is wrong or out-of-date. Do you want to know about it?"

A. Absolutely! I strive to keep my site as current and correct as possible. Email me right away, and I'll try to respond very quickly.

Q. "I have an idea for an article I want to write, or product I want to review. Do you allow other authors to write for your site?"

A. Yes; in fact, I encourage it. There are specific rules to writing for About.com, so contact me and we can talk about it.

Q. "I want to interview you for a news or blog article. Can I do that?"

A. Sure! I'm a journalist myself, so I know that drill. Make sure you mention your publication, deadline, and what your topic is. I should be able to get right back to you.

Q. "I just got certified, and want to tell someone! Would I be bugging you if I told you about it?"

A. No way -- I'd love to hear from you and congratulate you on your success. I may even pass along your news, if you allow it.

Q. "Are you on Twitter or any other social networking sites?"

A. Indeed. I'm at Twitter.com/Keithinator. If you do some interesting Tweeting, I may follow you, too.
