Costs: CIW exams cost $125 each. Taking Foundations and the Database Design Specialist exams will cost a total of $250.
Requirements: The CIW v5 Database Design Specialist requires two exams. You must pass the CIW Foundations exam and then the Database Design Specialist exam.
This exam, along with Foundations and three others will earn you the Master CIW Enterprise Developer Certification.
Recertification: Although your certification will not expire, you are encouraged to take updated versions of exams to keep your knowledge current.
