Practice Test of the Week

The sites featured here offer free practice tests or demos of testing software. I always try to recommend reputable sites but I do not endorse them or their products so be sure to do your own research before downloading or purchasing anything.

Warnings aside, each week I will choose one of the best free tests I can find. Some might require registration and all feature at least 20 questions.

PMstudy.com - PMP Practice Test
This is the best PMP practice test out there. It's free and after a short registration, gives you access to 200 questions. Get comfortable, this test promises to take 4 hours.

MCMCSE - Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, CIW, Linux, & IBM Tests
The tests on MCMCSE.com are all free. You will have to register to access the practice tests and other resources on the site such as study guides. MCMCSE offers non-braindump tests and the number of questions per test ranges from 40 to 270.

LearnByHeart.com - Dreamweaver Test
With a basic registration process you will have free access to 3 tests with around 70 questions each for DreamWeaver and Coldfusion MX. This site is in beta and may start charging for their test soon, so take advantage while you can.

PracticeExams.net - 640-801 CCNA Practice Test
PracticeExams.net may have just become my favorite free test site. They have tons of questions for Cisco, Microsoft, & CompTIA exams. The tests are free, no registration, very few ads, and no strings attached. The link above goes directly to the CCNA 640-801 test for which you can choose your number of questions up to 2,082!

ClickFire.com
ClickFire is a great resource for web designers. They have posted 15 free questions and a study guide for the CIW foundations exam as well as questions for the site designer exam.

FreePractice.com
FreePractice.com has practice questions for 13 MCSE exams. Each of their tests contains around 50 questions and they are completely free, no registration required. The only downside is poor navigation and design. Suffice to say that the blue squares are indeed links to practice tests. Click on them.
