Performance Logs and Alerts is a Windows XP utility that is used to monitor the performance of a computer. It specifically allows a user to log counter information to a file and trigger alerts based on configured events. It is found in the Performance window, which can be opened from Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Administrative Tools > Performance.
