Rahul holds a B. Tech in Electrical Engineering and has worked as a Technical Writer for some of the world's leading techno-industry companies such as Oracle India Private Limited. He is the owner/ moderator of a technical writing discussion group called TWI or Technical Writers India.
He also dons the editorial hat for an eNewsletter on technical writing called "TechCraft". Rahul presented a paper on "Exploring different genres of technical writing and its allied fields" at the Sixth Annual Conference of the STC Indian chapter held in Chennai (2004).
Currently, he is associated with professional bodies such as the IEEE, STC Education Subcommittee, Forum 2007 Programme Committee, Project 11 (to develop a new ISO international standard for managers of user documentation), International Council for Technical Communication (INTECOM), STC Management Special Interest Group, and so on.
