Certified Internet Professional (CWP) Certification

Description:

Designed for internet and e-commerce professionals, and sponsored by IWA, this certification is very similar to the CIW certification only with additional experience and continuing education requirements. To receive a CWP certification, you must pass the same courses and exams as the corresponding CIW certification. In addition, you must fulfill the following requirements:

Experience Requirements:

  • CWP Associate - No experience required.
  • CWP Specialist - Candidates must work full-time for a period of two (2) years in a given specialization as one of the following: practitioner, reviewer or supervisor within the last five (5) years.
  • Master CWP Specialist - Candidates must work full-time for a period of five (5) years in a given specialization as one of the following: practitioner, reviewer or supervisor within the last nine (9) years.

Continuing Education:

To maintain the certification you must take at least 30 hours of approved courses every three years.

CIW Certification:

Prosoft CIW certification exams are currently approved by IWA. Once the exams are completed, you will have obtained a CIW certification. With the experience, professionalism, and continuing education requirements fullfilled, you will hold both the CIW and CWP certifications.
