From the article: This is Not Your Father’s A+
The A+ certification has been completely revamped. Will you be upgrading your current A+ credential, or going for the A+ for the first time?
A+certification
- Could you give me some legitimate online courses in A+certification? Thank you

The A+ Certification
- Thank you for this article. Had thought of becoming certified for about 6 years. Money seems to be the problem. Still might still pursue. Thank you.

Redo :-(
- I got mine a long time ago (1980's) near when I got my CCP & CDP but never needed it. I have been a Systems Analyst & Programmer. Technician work was a hobby. Having been unemployed for a while, I've "discovered" that the world wants the paperwork and experience isn't important at least when you are looking for a new position rather than a promotion at the old company .... :-( Some of us are better at OJT than we are in school ... Que lastima

Wondering...
- Did the NT 4.0 MCSE route 10 years ago. After spending over a year passing all the exams...as well as the 2000 Pro exam...worked about a year in doing A+ duties without touching a server at all. If I were to do the A+ exam after all this time...will it be worth it or would I be wasting my time and money again?

Interested in A+ certification
- I went to a private instructor for A+ certification, but found the coverage to be too rushed to grasp at the time. Online instruction would be ideal.

Best to know newest?
- I probably would be apart from other job candidates by have the "newest" A+, i.e., 701 & 702 exams. Whether or not that would make me more valuable, would still have to be determined. But, I would use it as my (and I hate to use the word gimmick), but "gimmick". How many could actually compete with you having the new test credentials. I remember my old Human Resources dept., and they would have made a big deal about it, when in reality it may not make any difference at all. It's all in the presentation!

Still available
- The old test will still be available until July 29th 2010, so you don't need new material. Also, there are several missing words and and grammatical errors in this article :D.

A+ for the first time
- I'm excited to be in a program that offers the A+, Net+ and Security+ courses with cert exam, also. These three certs are just the beginning of my career.
